There is an enormous array of pubs and restaurants in the area, from Michelin starred, award-winning dining rooms to super child friendly pubs. Whether you fancy a quick pint after a walk on the beach or a five star menu, there really is something for everyone, and we will be happy to make our personal recommendations depending on what your preferences are.

A traditional country pub in the heart of the village that welcomes, diners, drinkers, cyclists and walkers (human and canine!). An extensive menu of local produce and game served in a very cosy and welcoming atmosphere. There are no foams or veloutes on the menu here, just delicious, honest, excellent value pub food! Tuesday night is Steak Night where you get two for the price of one, and Thursday night is the extremely popular Curry night, booking ahead for both is essential. There is also a lovely enclosed beer garden to relax in during the summer months. The Rose and Crown is shut all day on Monday and Tuesday lunchtime. Ian also offers a limited number of take-away options.

This gastro-pub enjoys a commanding position overlooking the green and duck ponds in one of Norfolk’s most picturesque villages. The sophisticated menu uses local ingredients and great imagination, resulting in exciting dishes and flavour combinations to tempt any palate. There is also a large enclosed garden with a super children’s play area that is very popular for the barbecue lunches held over the summer months.

This award-winning pub stands on the village green and serves great food with a modern twist. The blazing log fire and large wooden bar make it very welcoming for drinkers and diners alike. Sunday lunches are excellent and very popular so make sure you book ahead.

Tham is the hugely popular and genial landlord of this local gem. On offer is both a takeaway and restaurant Cantonese menu with Malaysian influences, and the daily specials are not to be missed. Traditional bar meals are also offered at lunchtime. Closed all day Monday and Tuesday lunchtime.

This attractive hotel has a more modern décor and ambience in the bar area and a large restaurant that gets very busy on Sundays. There is an extensive bar and restaurant menu, and the tapas style bar snacks are very popular, particularly amongst the locals!. There is a sheltered courtyard and a children’s play area to enjoy in the summer months.
